Independent Assessment — We Never Sell the Fix

InspectaMold is an inspection and testing company only. We do not perform mold remediation, we do not sell remediation services, and we earn nothing from the work our findings might lead to. That separation is deliberate: the company that documents the problem should never profit from fixing it, so every measurement, sample, and recommendation in your report is unbiased.

When remediation is warranted, your report includes the documented conditions a remediation contractor needs — and, where requested, a formal remediation protocol — so you can get competitive bids on identical scope instead of one company grading its own homework.

Because the findings are independent and laboratory-backed, the same report serves everyone who has to act on it: homeowners deciding next steps, buyers and sellers in a real estate transaction, property managers documenting conditions across a portfolio, and adjusters or attorneys who need defensible third-party evidence rather than a contractor's estimate.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mold inspection vs. air quality testing: which do I need?

Air quality testing alone is often enough when you have symptoms or a musty smell but no visible mold, or when you need to verify that remediation worked. If you can see growth, have had a leak or flooding, or need to know where the moisture is coming from, a full mold inspection with moisture mapping and thermal imaging is recommended, because air samples show what is in the air, not where it is growing.

How long does indoor air quality testing take?

Most visits are completed in a single trip. Time on site depends on the size of the home and how many rooms are sampled, and we confirm the expected scope when you book.

How fast are lab results?

Samples are analyzed by an AIHA-accredited laboratory, with results typically returned in 24-48 hours. We then walk you through the findings in plain English.

What does air quality testing cost?

Advanced indoor air quality assessments start at $799, and you can begin with a $169 virtual pre-screening that is 100% credited toward a home visit. See our pricing page at /pricing for every package, or call (504) 914-0970.

Do I need to leave the house during testing?

No. You can stay home while we sample. For the most accurate results, keep windows and exterior doors closed and avoid heavy cleaning or running air purifiers before the visit.

Is air quality testing useful if I can already see mold?

Yes. Visible growth confirms a problem, but testing shows whether spores have spread into the air of other rooms and identifies the species present. In most visible-mold cases we pair testing with a full inspection to find the moisture source.
